Interracial love // rant

It’s a sad feeling that religion and culture and beliefs are the reason people think they can’t learn and love something more than what they already know, that we should keep our culture separate and shouldn’t experience others. When was holding your faith, while educating yourself about others a sin?

We want to wear pendants with our names in Arabic, but don’t want to talk to an Arabic person. We want to celebrate Christmas, but would never befriend a Christian. We want to try different types of foods, but won’t meet different types of people. We want to fall in love with a new city, but not with a new religion, culture, language. And if falling in love with all these different things is okay, falling in love with a different person is not?

The difference in all of us is never wrong, only beautiful. These are only my opinions I want to share.

Thank you x
